Growing up in Minnesota has greatly influenced my design tastes, and now living in Texas, I find myself longing for the regular sightings of Dala horses and cool white interiors.
This has inspired me to start the process of making over my own home with a more Scandinavian feel. We are painting our mushroom colored walls an almost pure white. It feels amazing!
Buy them here in our Etsy shop!

We are finally having some wonderful overcast Texas winter days and the lighting is amazing. A perfect weekend to take some beauty shots of our blown glass ornaments!
All of these beauties are available for purchase at Wolf Art Glass on Etsy.
We worked entirely in pink and lime green color when we blew glass on Friday. These goblets look perfect together for a wedding goblet set! Available here in our Etsy shop.
All of the below ornaments and many more can be purchased on our new site devoted entirely to our art glass ornaments. We are blowing every other day to stock up for the holiday season, which has already begun!
We are having a super hot summer this year in Austin, TX but that has not stopped us from blowing new and beautiful art glass ornaments! We are working hard to increase the intensity and depth of the color combinations of our ornament suncatchers. All of the below ornaments and many more can be purchased on our new site devoted entirely to our art glass ornaments. Enjoy this Christmas in July treat!
Check back throughout the year as we continue to add more beautiful ornaments!!
I have been reading up on Botanical Art and Illustration lately in an effort to take my crochet wildflower designs to a new level, how inspiring! I bought these 2 books and highly recommend:
I am intrigued by the beauty and minimalism of ikebana flower arrangements and was inspired to create this arrangement in one of our art glass bud vases. The colors in the glass played off the purple and burgundy trillium so well. The vase sold the day after we took this picture so I am happy we got this shot!
We have been working all summer at WolfArtGlass to deepen the color profiles of our art glass and this vase is a great example of layering multiple colors in the same family, opaque and transparent, to create a very deep rich color.
This year give your mom a flower that will last forever! Dean and I have so much fun blowing these flower vases in all different colors. For sale at WolfArtGlass on Etsy.

I am about to embark upon a wonderful stretch of days of crocheting owl purses, celebrating the holidays with family, blowing glass with Dean, and more crocheting. I have a new idea about a combo crochet/glass concept that needs to be more fully explored and hopefully started or even better – finished! The holidays are the best time to chill out from work and sink into some serious creating.
Oh and, I just stumbled upon Jill Barklem, a childerns book author/illustrator – how have I never seen her work before?? Must find these books somewhere, they are amazing!
