Hello, this blanket reminds me of one I had a long time ago could you tell me how you started this blanket, the basic beginning steps? Many years ago a family friend began this type of pattern and then showed me how to continue the pattern. Rows had three stitches and corners had six. Unfortunately she never showed me the basic beginning. I want to make an afghan just like this (the one I had was lost) as a Christmas gift but I can’t seem to get it started. The name of this type of crochet pattern might be helpful. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Dye example, simple, and what you did this really work in your chosen artist to incorporate the fabrics. And the choice of colors chosen wires. You are very talented.
hanks for sharing and I’d love to be updated later.

I have looked everywhere for a pattern like this. Do you have one available for purchase? Or could you please direct me to a source. It’s stunning.
Thanks,
Tara

Hi Tara, here is an excellent tutorial on how to make a basic granny square like the one I did and then just keep making more and more rows until you get the size you want. Enjoy! Carrie

looking for the pattern for this afghan shown above (Crochet Lap Quilt for Gram). It is so beautiful. I really, really would love to have this pattern. Can you please sent the pattern to me. I would love to get started on it as soon as possible and to be able to have it finished so it can be presented to my mom on her 65th birthday in May. She’s always making afghans, dolls and other crochet things for people, but no one has ever made anything for her. So now that I see this afghan and I want to do it for her. Thank you:)
