Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize!

What a strange reaction to our President receiving the Nobel Peace Prize. Everywhere on the media I watch and read about how surprised and confused everyone is about why this has happened because of the perceived lack of concrete actions taken by the president.

What people of this opinion are not aware of is the power of the ideas that Obama has been socializing since he started campaigning for Pres. He has been planting seeds of change. Did we as a public believe that the minute he was elected that everything would change instantly? Are we that foolish? We need to be acutely aware of the effect his words and ideas will SLOWLY have on the American public and other nations. Words and ideas of openness, exchange of ideals, understanding and awareness. This message that is being conveyed in and of it self, is a form of action. This is the seed. Concrete results will slowly occur if we as a nation support these ideas and messages in our actions and support elected officials that assist with moving these ideas into further actionable outcomes.

Be patient people, more is happening that we all even realize.

The reactions are completely understandable and justified. Nobel prizes are not generally given for IDEAS, but for the results of those ideas. Words are simply a lot of talk until they cause results. If they wanted to give him the award it should have been after the results of his words have been seen. Until there are results they are simply more WORDS from another politician. Hardly unique, and hardly worth a Nobel prize until they are proven.

Thank you Carrie for this read. According to Nobelprize.org, the reason why President Obama won the award after having just become president of the United States was for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and bringing people together. I will add that that is true just by be able to become President in that moment. By the time he became president it was an accomplishment the whole world witnessed and came together for and it sure was an extraordinary moment the night Barack Obama accomplished and fulfilled what the requirements for that award was. President Obama most certainly did fulfill that requirement in a way it never had before. This is 2012 now and the critics who disagree with President Obama winning this awards needs to realize that the award is not for what he hadn’t accomplished yet but for what he did as I outlined. No one can ever take that away from him. Critics and bigots alike continue a busy effort to their avail in obstruction but realize the Nobel Peace group is and has been esteemed and lauded and a sound organization that has given awards to notables for decades and the President was deemed worthy to be ranked amongst other Nobel winners. The idea ……

The IDEA HAD RESULTS which the president achieved, that’s why President Obama got the award. The idea came in the dream from Martin Luther King Jr., The Dreamer. That IDEA RESULTED in BARACK OBAMA, The Dream. We did get the results of the idea in the dream from the dreamer resulting in the presidency of Barack Obama which won him a Nobel. RECOGNIZE. How else should I explain this. Now let me go back to the first reason why I came to this site, the crotchet owl purse. :). :). 🙂
